How GoGrid Works

Deploy Your Servers in Minutes With 3 Simple Steps
Control Your Servers

Manage your servers with the first multi-server hosting control panel and scale your web applications or networks quicker and easier than ever before. Our innovative interface allows you to add and remove web or database servers in a matter of minutes. And the ability to start, stop, and reboot servers is entirely in your hands as well.

Add a Load Balancer

Adding a Load Balancer is just as easy as adding a Web or Database Server. Simply, click 'Add' in the GoGrid control panel. Select 'Load Balancer', assign it a Real and Virtual IP address, select the type of load balancing and the persistence, then you're done.

Manage IP Addresses

GoGrid gives you static IPs, and every account comes with a public and private VLAN.  By default, the public VLAN comes with 16 IP addresses and the private VLAN comes with 256 . You can always request more at any time by simply contacting one of our system administrators.

Your assigned IP addresses are listed in the Network widget on the left-hand pane.  The network widget also includes the gateway and net mask of the subnets, which you will need to configure static IPs to your static interfaces.

Billing

The Billing Summary gives you a real-time look at your current RAM-hour and outbound data transfer usage and any applicable charges.

For Pay-As-You-Go Plans:
The Billing Summary will show you your current Server RAM-Hour and Data Transfer usage and as well as an up-to-the-minute tally of charges for the current billing period. Because there are no memory or data transfer limits for pay-as-you-go plans, overage charges do not apply.

For Pre-Paid Plans:
If you’ve signed up for a prepaid plan, you will see how many Server RAM-hours and GBs of outbound data transfer you’ve used, as well as an estimate of how much of each you will use in the current billing period.

note: 1GB of RAM deployed for 1 Hour = 1 Server RAM-hour).

If you exceed your allotment of Server RAM hours or Transfer limit, don’t worry. We won’t cut you off, but we will charge you for the overage each day that you go over the limit.  To avoid overage charges, you can always upgrade your account through the control panel.
