With GoGrid Dedicated Servers, you can provision cloud (virtual) and dedicated (physical) servers on the same network. Only GoGrid’s hybrid hosting provides the options today’s companies need to build a secure, high-performance, scalable infrastructure for hosting applications that combines cloud, dedicated, and co-located infrastructure connected via a private dedicated network spanning multiple data centers across the globe.

Dedicated Servers
GoGrid Dedicated Servers are powerful physical servers you manage directly through GoGrid’s web-based management console, letting you easily combine the elasticity of cloud computing with single-tenant physical servers.

Firewalls
GoGrid firewall options are more robust than those of any other cloud provider. You can choose from software-based firewalls or a variety of managed firewall services.

Load Balancers
With GoGrid Load Balancers, you can build fault tolerance into your network so the load is distributed across resources.

Cloud Storage
GoGrid Cloud Storage is available on-demand and is instantly scalable. Provisioning takes just a few clicks through our web-based management console.

PRICING
Pricing
Although there are no charges for simply creating a GoGrid account, your hosting charges will vary depending on the services you use. When running a mix of dedicated and cloud infrastructure, typical usage charges include monthly dedicated server, cloud server, and outbound transfer usage charges. For example, a customer with a single Standard Dedicated Server and a pay-as-you-go extra-small (.5 GB) Cloud Server would be charged $300 per month for the Dedicated Server, $.04 per hour for the Cloud Server, and transfer from the servers would cost as little as $.08 per GB outbound. Inbound data transfer is free.

USE CASES
Use Cases

Isolation of infrastructure resources
If you’re just transitioning to the cloud, you may want to move to a hybrid environment first. Doing so lets you test various configurations and isolate resources for various reasons such as compliance, security, or to protect your intellectual property (IP). GoGrid dedicated hardware lets you architect the solution that best meets your needs.

Isolation of data
One of the most common reasons for using dedicated servers is to isolate customer data. You can do so in the cloud, but if you want single-tenancy, GoGrid’s Dedicated Servers provide a flexible option.

Pre-defined hardware requirements
At times, your company may have set requirements that call for specific hardware firewalls, dedicate servers, or hardware load balancers. Because we realize you need options, we’ve architected our cloud to work with a variety of hardware requirements. Our team can provision and distribute access to resources as needed. If Sales needs a server to run a proof of concept, it’s no problem.
