Components

GoGrid’s out-of-the-box Big Data solution can be tailored to meet your needs. Below are the basic components, but feel free to chat with our team if you require a special configuration. In most cases, we can accommodate particular requests.

  • Name and Data Node Server Cluster
    Minimum configurations consist of 1 Name Node and 3 Data Nodes in multi-rack architecture. This arrangement is typically paired with a Cloud Server front end.
  • Cloud Servers
    Take advantage of scalable, high-performance Cloud Servers and gain all the efficiencies of server virtualization.   • Load Balancers
    Fully integrated, redundant load balancers ensure you’re ready when traffic peaks. Leverage GoGrid load balancing to automatically distribute workloads across resources, clusters, and between data centers. Read more about GoGrid Load Balancers here.
  • Firewalls

    From role-based access control, to pre-configured server images, to usage and job tracking, GoGrid’s cloud management platform places all the tools you need to manage your virtual data center right at your fingertips. Pricing

Specific pricing will vary, depending on your configuration. The most basic deployment consists of a mini-cluster: 1 Name Node and 3 Data Nodes in multi-rack architecture.
